Instead of glass plates, microporous surfaces or carbon laminates on which to affix vinyl glue or lacquer, Roboze systems use polymeric films held in position by suction through the vacuum system.
This solution speeds up and simplifies the set-up operation and allows to keep the tolerances low, avoiding any deformation even at high temperatures (up to 180°C). Following simple rules of chemical affinity, each filament is associated with a special polymeric film which guarantees perfect adhesion of the first layer.
The build plate of Argo 500 (xyz – 500x500x500 mm) is supported by an auto-leveling system that guarantees a perfect parallelism between the printing surface and the extruder carriage, correcting any thermal expansion and mechanical deformation.
